Thumbs up

I just had a chance to preview the new L-Tuned IS 300 with a 5-speed stick and it's awsome. I will have a complete set of pictures in my Photo Gallery on www.familycar.com by this weekend.

There are two versions of the L-Tuned package; Series I has a front fascia with carbon fiber style grill, side skirts, rear spoiler, rear valamce and a sport exhaust with a polished stainless tip (good for an additional 8 hp), L-Tuned Badging and floormats. while Series II adds a stiffer suspension and 18" cast aluminum wheels ( in silver or gunmetal gray) and 225/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The L-Tuned packages are factory installed by Lexus and are covered by the new car warranty.

Series I package is $3,999, Series II is $7,698

Damn I want a IS 300 stick to. My folks say wait until January unless I sell my SC 400. I can't wait that long, but I'm not selling the coupe for a IS. I want both!

Thumbs up How about some pictures of the SportCross

Here are some new pictures of the SportCross. This car is very similar to the sedan. 5-Speed Stick is not available for this model, only the 5-Speed Automatic.

Base Price for the SportCross 5-Speed Automatic is $32,305
Two new options for all IS 300's are:
- Full Leather Seats with piping (Leather/Escaine package is still available)
- DVD based Navigation System

Globe,

99.9% those are rays versus ss7 wheels with lexus center caps.

grey,

check with your local volkracing/mackin indutries dealers. they cost ~$1200 for 18s, no tyres.

will

Default Familycar.com IS-300 Photo Gallery is open

Here are a bunch more photos of all the 2002 IS 300 models. There is one downer here though, The L-Tuned package is VERY limited production for now. They only plan to produce 75 cars and they're all heading to the west cost. I am told that full production will start "Later on in the model year". On the brighter side, there is a rumer that a supercharger will be available at that time.

Here is a picture of the supercharger in the Cart IS 300 Pace Car
