Is it me or has this forum picked back up?
Been lurking in the background for a while now, but seems as though the 1st gen IS forum has picked up steam again!
Are people thawing from the winter freeze? Does the allergies of spring stir the passions of the 1st gen owners/tuners/modders? What gives?
Anyways, I'm enjoying the fun and participation.
Keep'em coming!

It seems like whatever the west coast does, the east coast ignores for a year or so

On the west coast more people seemed to be looking for the IS350/250.

Good!
As more and more of the 1st gen IS gets recirculated and modded, I think parts and aftermarket support will help this car become the next sleeper hot rod.
I'm planning to keep it for a long while then convert it to a track sled.
Happy St. Patrick's week!

Personally, I started posting on this site because of the maturity level of the members. I browsed .net for a long time but never posted because most of those guys are a bunch of kids. Ive seen plenty of threads posted on .net where all the replies were sarcastic and not at the least helpful. Yes I understand that there are members out there that know everything to know about the IS and could have probably built the car better than lexus themselves. But dont knock a new guy for not knowing as much info as you do. Its a freakin forum, ppl are supposed to ask quesitons!!!
