New guy from the Euro-world
So after 5+ years in the VW scene, I made my way over to a CPO 02' Lexus Is300. While I miss the euro-scene, I dont miss the class F service. So now after heavily modifying an 01' Jetta 1.8 turbo, I promised myself I would not modify this car, only to break my promise the second I parked it. The wheels I got on this car are the OEM ones but with a different finish, and I plan on selling them ASAP. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much these normally sell for in excellent condition with tires?
While there's excitement to start over with a new project, I'm also dealing with the woes of having to research online vendors all over again, whereas before with the VW scene, I had a set of about 5 very reputable vendors with excellent cust service that I always did business with. Are there any superb vendors that deal a lot with IS300 parts?
Anyway enough of the intro, I hope the community here is as helpful as most from the vwvortex where I spent way too many hours.......oh and a pic of my new(to me) car with some pics of my previous project......

Lots of goodies on this one, OEM R32 front end, custom designed hood, Audi RS6 wheels, OEM hids from German R32, Audi S4 mirrors, and a bunch of other OEM/stock goodies...
The last hood I ended up designing......

Your VW looks very agressive with the drop and those fat tires!!!
One of the best online vendors here (they are also sponsors here) in terms of price and service is the team at Carson Toyota - http://www.l-tunedparts.com . I guarantee you will literally spend hours browsing all the products they have available for your IS!
ClubLexus is one of the best (if not the best) online car clubs in existence today. Very mature people here and very very helpful. You will make lots of friends and have an absolute blast of a roller coaster ride here!!

I wasnt at Feb Fling this year, the car was parted and sold before it, but now that you mention it, is there a local Lexus group near Charlotte?

Glad to see we have some more South Eastern members showing up, definatley check out the forum that Dave referenced to. There are several people from here that are on the forum regularly. We meet up a bunch and have a good ole time. Would love to see you on there.
