How much parasitic drag does the A/C induce ?

I notice my IS, like most cars, except maybe big GS400 V8's....really seems to suffer from A/C power loss, when I turn it off, and am in power mode with the transmission...whoa! major torque snap-igg...any engineers out there have a clue of potential HP loss ?
