Looks like my IS qualifies for the ECU/TRAC ECU fix from Lexus.. Verified the VIN numbers and mine is well below.. I've heard some mixed feelings about people who have had this done.. Does anyone have any negative or positive info. on their experiance with the fix??? Any regrets?? Loss of power etc??? Thanx!!

I had the upgrade in June. I noticed right away that the car no longer does that jerky shifting it used to do at low speeds, such as cruising a parking lot. The shifting when accelerating from a rolling stop is MUCH smoother. One curious thing though...the service manager told me it would be best to keep it in Power Mode after the upgrade. I didn't really think that would matter, so I've been trying it both ways. You know, I DO like it better in power mode.
