I'm interested in using the Potenza RE 730's
as a replacement for the OEM RE 040's in
215/45-17.

Anyone with experience with these tires?
Or other recommendations as replacements?

From the ads, the RE 730 should offer better
wet performance, quieter, and wear longer.
Any truth here?

i've read from tirerack forums that on larger sedans and/or more negative camber, they are way noisy; furthermore, tirerack has been accepting swaps on the problem tires
