Well I can say that I now loooovvvee driving. After 5 years in the civic, I began to hate driving and would argue with my sisters over who had to drive when going anywhere. Today I took my mom and my grandma to the grocery store happily. (Well, until I found out which one they wanted to go to, who cares if their prices were cheap I wasn't going to park my car THERE) I've gotten nothing but nice comments and raves about my car. A few odd things I've noticed however, why didn't Lexus put a few more bells and whistles in this car? My fiance has a 2000 solara, and while it is a cheaper car it comes with the auto dimming rear view mirror, and every single piece of the car (windows, panels, engine parts) is etched with the VIN for added security. In fact, the only difference between our cars accessory wise is that I have a 6 disc changer and my passenger seat is powered. But with the difference in MSRP between the two cars, you'd think it come with everything that the solara has and a few things more. *shrug* Just some ramblings that I've had...

Welcome to the club!!!
I'm at 18K and still taking unneeded trips.
The reason IS300 doesn't have as many Luxury featurs is because it is not a Luxury car!!! It is designed to be a sports car with a hint of luxury - something new for the Lexus.
