Well....not that I think my dealer is full of sh*# but I have to wonder if they really installed the LSD or not, I mean is it installed as a PIO Port Installed Option at the prep recieving center or at the dealership ?
And can I peer underneath to verify it was installed ?

Go to a parking lot or a safe, open area (this is my safety waiver, you can actually do it in a street, driveway, parking lot, alley or wherever you want).
Put your *RIGHT* rear tire in a puddle of water.
Put your car in D, L or any forward gear.
Push the brake firmly with your left foot, push the gas with your right foot.
Keep pushing the gas until it's almost floored, or at least 3/4 throttle.
If you haven't begun doing a smokeyass burnout by now, lift off the brake a little until you feel the rear tire(s) start to spin.
Don't push the brake down again or you might stop spinning the tire.
You can push the gas a little more if you want, you can also let it upshift to second gear. Higher gears will require more throttle to maintain the burnout. Definitely DO NOT do this with OD on! Usually 1st gear is enough for most people.
Sit there until you are satisfied that you have made enough smoke, disturbed the neighbors, etc.
Smoothly let off the brake and maintain your throttle position.
Roll out about 50ft or so, bring the car to a complete stop then put it in park.
If you forgot to roll up your windows your car will probably be full of smoke, but that's ok.
Get out, look back and see if your *LEFT* tire left a super duper black mark from where your burnout location was.
You really can't tell just by looking at the housing to know if they installed it, you'll have to test it like this.
The key is not to be a sissy with the gas, but at the same time don't be an abusive idiot!

LSD is a Factory Intalled option.
It should be listed on the window sticker which your dealer should've provided.
There's a code in VIN, but I don't remember what it is.
Of course, there's the test way:
Turn trac off. Go into a tight turn using full throttle.
Be careful, you may (will) understeer.
If only the outside tire is spinning and you experience huge oversteer, there's no LSD.
LSD will keep both tires spinning at a certain ratio, provided the free spinning tire still maintains traction.

the old rotate the tires test
Wow, that's one I forgot all about. We used to put cars up on the lift and do that same test. I worked at a Mobil station close to thirty (30) years ago when I last performed it though.
