Default Is there a way to make an IS 300......

I am back with another stupid question and the question is

Is there any way for an IS 300 fo have the VIP style look? You know what I mean like the GS have the certain look. I wa just wondering because I have not seen any IS 3's with that look is there any reason why?

Thanks for answering my not so good questions.

You can make an IS300 look VIP with certain styling parts/accessories, but the IS300/Altezza is a sports sedan. VIP style cars usually pertain to higher class midsize to large luxury passenger vehicles i.e. GS, LS and etc.

No you can't. Sorry. Its chassis is just simply too small and not designed to be a big luxo 4-dr like the GS or the LS.

yup i have to agree with jon, no way. i had is300 for 2 yrs, there's just no way you can make it a vip car, and there is a reason why that car is never in the vip mag too. you see aristo, celsior, and others. but the is300, it probably should just stay in the sport sedan corner

Sorry, T. But there's absolutely nothing VIP about the car you just posted. There's a lot more involved in being a VIP other than just slapping on some fender flares and door caps.

sorry to you too, because that's an award winning car that made the cover of TURBO MAGAZINE....

it has molded body work, not just fender flares or door caps....but no matter....

To be honest. If you look at any Japanese VIP publication, the Altezza/IS300 does not qualify as Japanese VIP. Award winning or not, it's not VIP to JDM standards.

This is the key. Just the fact that it is an IS knocks it out of VIP status. You can put more $ into mods than the larger cars and build a beautiful and tastefully modded IS, but it still won't help. At the end of the day, it is still an IS.

There is nothing wrong with an IS in itself, just its consideration as VIP status. I don't know specifically who dictates the rules (we sure don't). The JDM VIP culture, though, has been pretty specific in leaving out the Altezza class.

There is no such thing as a VIP IS, dude. Just accept it.

Doesn't mean anyones bagging on the IS, it's just in a different (again, not better/not worse) class than the (larger) VIP cars.
