anyone know how to change the DASHcolor of the lites?

hmmmm..
now, i know that on many toyota's ( such as a camry) you can just pop out the instrument panel and put in different color light bulbs to change the color..
as for a lexus IS300...well, im not too sure that it is the same,..when i got my IS300, i wanted to change the orange color too, but now, the orange has grown on me...
what you may want to do is to take the dash apart..start with the two screws that are on the inside top of the dash and work your way from there.,.. when you do get to the back of the instrument panel, tell me if you can take out the little sockets with the "orange bulbs"...im not sure exactly what is back there, buy im pretty sure its not an indiglo setup , like in the ES300 and such,,,
write back when u get a chance...if you do take the dash apart...

are the bulbs changable then???
in many toyotas, its is just a green film over the bulbs, but since the bulbs are welded to the plastic socket, you have go to and buy the plastic sockets BEFORE you can change the bulbs..
is it the same in the IS300??
or, do the bulbs just come out..??
one more question... how do i unplug the dash light turn ****...??? the one that increases/decreases the brightness of the dash...i just cant seem to get it un done...

damn who brought back that thread.. it is OLD... I know where to get my lites done.... it is called WXMAN custom crapper kit... hey when can you do my lights?
