Need help...
Hi everyone,
I really haven't the slightest clue about Lexus cars but a dear friend of mine does...he's quiet the aficionado.
Well his birthday is coming up and I'd like to get him a nicely detailed diecast model of the IS300. He had a 2001 model. However, I can only find 1999 models that are the color he had (blue).
Is there a difference btwn the two models?? As far as I know, IS300s weren't even made before 2001...right???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're talking about the 1:18 scale auto art model in Blue, it is a Lexus IS300 aka Toyota Altezza. The Toyota Altezza (Japanese counterpart) was released in 98-99 before the release of the Lexus IS300 in 2000 as a 01 model.
