azari, I bought my 2003 e-shift new for $30K + tax, tags, and title. I did not get nav, LSD, heated seats, or VSC, but did get the graphite polished wheels.

Damn Henry, now I'm really curious to meet E. Maybe next time I'm in SoCal for business.

I also agree with mmarshall's statement that it seems increased competition in the IS300's class and market segment have helped buyers negotiate better prices.

yeah, over yrs i think the price of the is300 new has constantly been dropping slighly. while irt's sad for me who paid the price i did (which was awesome at that time btw), i think it's good for lexus to capture the market. that's something lexus needs to do in order to lower the avg age of people getting lexus

oh and about E? i felt very stupid afterwards coz' i had a camera with me all day but i didn't get it out to take a pic of her. see how disoriented i was that day?

soooooooo OT here! and i didn't even realize there were still posts being made. man, H, quit making up stuff! he actually believes you! B, i'm sure i'll probably meet you sometime...

back on topic, as for pricing, yeah, H i completely agree with you on prices dropping over the years. for the newer owners (like me), we benefited since we still got a great quality product for less money. and i'm not complaining!

oh and E, sorry, i don't lie, i don't make things up. and B looks very good too!

Default Price

Somewhat. Lexus has huge incentive for last of the 04's
Same car in 05 model best price is and this is only because I'd just bought one and wanted a 2nd.
The 2005 Lexus IS300 E-Shift Value Package (VP) comes with full leather trim interior, 2-position driver's memory, One-Touch open/close moonroof, 6-disc CD auto-changer, five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, rear spoiler (RF), trunk mat (LM), cargo net (GN), and wheel locks (WL). It has an MSRP of $33,449 and your special selling price is $29,824 plus tax, license, a $5 California tire fee, and a $45

1stis300 only paid $28000??? sounds like a GREAT deal to me. How's that possible? I thought the base price starts around $30000, right? So why is this? Is this something going on at all dealers now?

Do manual transmission cars go for less in IS300's? If yes, how much less than $28000 could one get an IS300 5 speed? and lets say that memeory seats aren't there either?

thanks

actually i think 28k is about the invoice for the car. for nav it would be 30k invoice

memory seats is standard on all 04 already i believe

if you talk about the 5 speed compared to auto, the price difference is 2k. however if you get 5 speed, very likely they come with lsd, rear spoiler, and i think graphite wheels (at least on my 03), and that makes up the 2k difference so the prices look more similar
