New here and need some advice
Hi everyone I'm new here and just needing some advice. I'm in a market for a Lexus IS300 looking for a great condition, with no engine problems, no leaks, ac/heater must be working and no frame damage so not looking into a salvage title. Problem is my initial budget is only 4k. I know, I know Lexus keeps their value and my asking price is a bit low,but honestly that's all I have.
I live in Arizona not sure if this is a Arizona forum, but there is one seller in the Tuscon,AZ area with a white Lexus IS300 super clean with only 147k miles asking 5k and he was able to go as low as 4250 but someone beat me to it..shame on you man whoever you are lol jk!
I am stuck with the remaining rebuilt title is300 with over 140k miles and most are salvage in the phoenix listings on Craigslist. A lot of them are overpriced with over 200k miles asking over 6k which is ridiculous if you ask me.
Since my budget is only 4k I've seen one with 180k+miles with a clean title I might have to settle for it since its the cleanest one ive seen so far with everything working. I know it all depends on the previous owner but are these cars expensive to maintain/repair?

I've looked around Palm Springs and in San Diego there are a few that I like, but some of them rust damage due to being so close to the beach. Would it be ok to buy a rebuilt title is300? How long are these 2jz engines meant to last if proper maintenance was done to it.
