Default Check engine light problem!

So i have a check engine light on and the code is po113, I've tried clearing the light but it won't go off. I even disconnected the battery for 15 minutes. Even if the a sensor is plugged out the light should still clear for a minute or two is what I was informed of.

I looked up the code and found this out
- Faulty Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor
- Dirty air filter
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness is open or shorted
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit poor electrical connectio

has anyone had this problem before?

Most likely a bad mass air flow sensor - it houses the intake air temp sensor as well.

if you had access to a bluetooth obd2 reader and an app like Torque, you could look at the reported intake temp and see if it jives with what it should be.

mitsuguy is correct. The IAT is with the MAF. You can try cleaning the MAF with MAF cleaner. You can get one in any Auto Part store.
