hello gang, first time here but I have owned a GS300 before and have always like the first IS gen.

I'm looking to purchase a 05 IS300 for my wife which has very low 57k on the odor. However, from carfax report i uncovered this:
"Accident reported
Involving front impact
It hit a utility or light pole
Vehicle towed
Airbag deployed"

I haven't checked out the car yet but the dealer assured (bought car off auction) me that the airbag light would turn on and goes off as normal so it was fixed properly. He claimed that car wouldn't pass inspection and the engine wouldn't run?

The price is significantly less than anywhere I have found so far for the low miles. However, I'm very concerned about the safety feature on the airbag deployed situation. Is it possible if one or two airbags are missing but the airbag light still works like normal?

I appreciate for any suggestions.
