Default Short Shifter Install help on Sonic Motor

Before anyone says anything about looking up info, I already have.
http://www.vmdesigns.net/iss300.html
I tried using this link but it doesn't really help at all.

I have Sonic motor s.s. but it seems like it doesn't fit and I was wondering if anyone else has used a sonic motor s.s. and how was your install since I can't figure it out on mine.

Pretty sure they gave me the wrong one but if anyone has pix or a description of how it went and how there's looked, it would help.

Thanks.

i don't have the same shifter, but mine wouldn't fit until I swapped the plastic bushing at the bottom with the stock one.

the aftermarket one had one on it already, but it must have been slightly bigger, and the shifter wouldn't slide in.

I have the Sonic and used the stock plastic bushing. It works great and is definitely one of the shortest I've ever used.
