Default IS300 LED mood light installed

Finally got a chance this past weekend to do something I've been trying to finish.

I've tried blue, red, orange, white and yellow LEDs, and personally I like the blue.
I'm using some blue LED that my buddy got me from Radio Shack and 1/2 watt 560 ohms resistors.

The footwell lights are super easy to do, just open your glove box and pop out the light fixture,
and you got your power source. The lights will only turn on when your parking lights are on.

As for the lights on the door handles, I tapped the power from the window switches.
You can run parking lights power into the door......but I took the easy way out

So these LEDs will be on whenever there is power to the windows, if you lock the passengers window from the driver's door main switch, the LEDs on those door will be out, too.

First off, remove the trim around the door handle, open that little flap and remove the screw.
then, there are 2 tabs, one on top and one on the bottom, wiggle a flathead in and release them.

drill one hole on top of the trim piece and stick a LED in.
drill the hole just big enough so the LED can have a tight fit.

you can buy special plastic holder for the LED, but since I'm using low power LED, they do not
get warm at all.

I tap the power from these wires.....all passenger doors
fish the wire up to the door handle, you don't even have to remove the whole interior panel

I absolutely love what you just did here.

Where did you buy these LED's from? Are they also available in less of a blue color hue? More closer to white, but still a very faint hue of blue?

thanks, my buddy got me those blue LEDs from Radio Shack....if you just walk in, they charge
you $3.29 each

I believe radioshack only carries one kind of blue.......not 100% positive

I'd would've gotten the LEDs from O.L.T. if I have to pay for them
