Any way to tell how many miles on electric motor vs combustion engine
Is there a way to tell? If not how is service interval estimated in a hybrid?

you know I too have wondered that, but I have seen no info. You know I had an RX300, and serviced by the schedule, but I have been treating the RX400h with a 5-6k schedule. The engine oil is just about same as on the non hybrid at those mileages.
The one thing that will be way different on the schedule is brakes, they last forever....I am on second set at 193k miles and they have a lot of miles to go. The book on the hybrid list the service interval the same as on the non hybrid for oil changes.

Agreed Salimshah, but from my last 120k miles on this RX400h, the engine oil looks the same at 5k changes as the RX300. One thing to consider the constant on and off of the RX400h engine is probably harder on the engine than the constant on of the non hybrid. One thing I did not experience with the RX300 was the wheel bearing failures. The brakes as said last forever. The scariest thing is the new technology of hybrid systems with electric brake pump, and all of the hybrid system. Otherwise I loved my RX300, but the RX400h is vastly cooler. The power is beyond my expectations. ANd fuel economy is 30% better.
