I have my RX400h inflated to 39 PSI. Anything under makes the tires look awfully under-inflated, and the maximum cold PSI allowed on my tire (Continental PureContact) is 51PSI, so a slight over-inflation to the factor recommended spec should be okay.

I thought the recommended was 30psi...Do you run them that way to gain fuel economy.?

I run the Michelin tires and keep them at 35psi, the door tag calls for 30 but the car feels better with them slightly higher pressure.

I find the ideal air pressure settings for tire wear vs comfort is 36psi .

I do 33psi.. it still "looks" low.. but once i go past that, the tires bounce all over the place..
the tires heat up to 35 ish during normal drives and ~36-37 on the highway anyways.

Smile My Michelin Premier AS 235/55R18 at 40psi

I have my Michelin Premier AS 235/55R18 at 40psi and after I did the isc reset last week my 76 mile trip to my dealer in Tucson at 80 mph in 100* plus weather got me 30.1 mpg. Returned home and round trip got 24.1 mpg.
Hear thumps on expansion cracks and potholes but still smooth and quiet and very quik steering too.
