Just bought a 2010 450h a month ago and love it. The sound system, to my ears, leaves a lot to be desired, though. I do not have the Levinson system but I do have the fancy steering wheel and navigation so I suspect the car has the mid-level audio system. All I can see is bass, mid, and treble adjustment, and from the driver's position I hear a big peak in the high-bass region, around 100 Hz. Any way to put in a multi-band equalizer or possibly adjust the bass control function?

Like I said, I just love this car, but the audio is not as flat as what I had on my old 1997 Mercury Mountaineer.

EDIT: I think I found the issue.

When I turn the "ASL" signal processor off, the audio sounds great. So on my car, the ASL circuit is boosting bass all the time, regardless of background noise. Is there some dealer adjustment for this?
