If they are still in the process of reconstructing everything, I think you'll just have to wait until they are finished to see if their R&R process resolved the issue. If not, you now potentially have two shops who could be the culprit, and they will more than likely start the finger-pointing game, each saying it's the other's fault. Then again, if it starts once they are finished, you can chalk it up to having been a connection problem in a harness which they got resolved.

battery to start engine probably died. a frind of mine had this happen on his 2007 highlander.

You need to connect OBDII reader and get the error code(s). Carista can do this for you rather easily.
I suggest you find some competent people to look at this. Fixing hybrids is no walk in the park.

OP, did you ever get this resolved?

It appears there is a reason why you were not able to read the codes.
I use Carista app and the scanner, which reads individual ECU codes, while a generic scanner does not.
That's why I was able to extract the exact error when my Hybrid developed a wiring issue.

I have a 2015 Lexus rx450h hybrid it will go to accessories but it wont go to full start an I disconnected the battery in the trunk which use to work but now it wont any suggestions

You the need the 12v battery to have enough juice to run the electronics. If not then you can get a boost [alos referred to as jump]. You do not need heavy jump cables as teh current draw is much less. Next you need working brake switch that will get you to the :"Ready" when you push the start button. You can also try charging your 12v battery or replace it. Expected life for 12v battery on RX 450H is 5-8 years but for many it can last for 10 years. You can confirm that the brake switch is working by having some one behind and observe the tail light coming on at "normal brightness".

The confusion part is that "start" can be the ICE running on gas. For that you need to have operational traction battery [If your RX450 has been sitting for few weeks] the traction battery may need a boost from the dealer.
