Question gs450h gearbox slipping

Hi all im due for a service oil change etc, my last service was at a dealer and i have been trying so hard for them to service the gearbox and they refuse.
I want the oil changed, now it started slipping when i took off the other day.

Was a little hot that day, felt like clutch slipping and motor revved out, then i realised straight away and waited few seconds and a little thud and it had drive again.

Is anyone aware of charges to service gearbox?
Dont mention Gs300/350/430 as these are 6speed and its $100, gs450 is 1speed CVT aisin which is service free gearbox.
But i have 230,000 kms on my car and the oil will need a refresh im sure.
They quoted me $700+ and 5-7 hours (overnight) service.
Where should i start?

What kind of servicing are you looking for?
I just did a transmission flush at Lexus of Manhattan for $350+tax. Thats for ATF fluid and labor.
If you want them to open up the gearbox and look at why its slipping, i'm not sure they'll do that. They'd probably advise you just replace the transmission.

my dealer flat refused to replace the oil in transmission, they said when they replace gearboxes they get them with oil in it from japan
and never replace them
my car surges on load at around 100km/h it winds out like a clutch slipping
THen i back off and it grabs you can feel it, only does this when hot and on a hot day.
also on left corners it jerks when down shifting if you can call it that on a cvt.
I dont care what lexus says new oil is better than old oil and my car is pushing 225,000 kms now it needs oil
the whole thing stinks like dirty or low on oil i dont know what to do when lexus wont service it

why still stick with dealer? do some Yelp search around your area some Toyota/Lexus indy shop, i had my GS450h tranny and brake fluid flush replace with them and they insist "no oil are lifetime" they say when they drain my ATF fluid it is really dark (100k miles) and they say its no good for sure.

car drives the same again, not sure if the ATF does make any difference

Just drain what you can and pump back in what you took out. At least some of the dirty oil is removed, better than nothing.

this transmission is a drain and fill procedure, any FLUSHING is not recommeded for this PSD ECVT.
Its very easy to do, you drain it and then you fill it in with a pump, look for TOYOTA WS tranny fluid.
