How Long Can You drive On Battery Alone??
Hello Everyone.
Well last night I purchased a 2006 Lexus GS450h. I have been looking to switch for a while now as my other Lexus (2006 GS300 SE) has now got 160,000 miles on the clock. The old girl never let me down though.
My new hybrid was a steal at the price a got it for, has only got 48,000 miles on the clock and has had one former Doctor owner from new. A real nice chap who has looked after the car flawlessly.
Moving from a standard GS300 is somewhat strange getting used to the no noise on start up!! And no response from the accelerator when at idle. Its like black magic is at work
Everything seems great on the car but as I am new to Lexus Hybrids I was wondering how long should the battery last for before it becomes depleted? Say I drove off at less than 20 mph and kept going without using the engine how far would I get on a fully charged battery?
Any other things I should be looking for or advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Eric - UK
