Right chopstickz. I admitted in the first post that the extra weight might have been what did the car in...I also said that regardless of weight, I wouldn't tow with a hybrid because the potential risk of putting extra strain on the car is too costly. The purpose of the post was a word of caution to warn others of the potential costs to fix the hybrid system not to debate whether or it is a good or bad idea to tow over capacity.
