I am currently looking for a GS460, but came across a 2007 GS450h that caught my eye. The car has been extensively serviced at Lexus, but this one record stood out to me as odd. It's the last service record on the car in Lexus' system. Does this mean the hybrid battery was replaced or was the problem just masked by reflashing the ECU? Below is what the record states:

"R&R HV BATTERY, ADJUST HVAC AND REFLASH HV ECU - CUSTOMER STATES CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM LIGHT IS ON CHECK AND ADVICE - TECH FOUND CODE P0A7F DETERIORATION OF HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY L - SB - 0147 - 10 - R&R HV BATTERY, ADJUST HVAC AND REFLASH HV ECU"

Just from reading that I would take a wild guess as to yes. R&R is to remove & replace. But try calling the Lexus dealer that did the work. Sometimes they will help you and tell you. But good luck with it.
