Default RX 450h - Suspension Damper - F Sport

I have a 2014 RX 450h with the F Sport appearance package and would like to reduce its body roll. The F Sport suspension damper system was suggested by Sewell. Has anyone put the F Sport suspension damper system on their RX 450h (see link below) and if so, was there a noticeable difference for the cost?

http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...2014/6468.html

Also, when does Sewell have sales?

Thanks

^^^I haven't ever noticed any "sales" with Sewell, but have you created an account with Sewell? If so, the dampers front + rear are about 920$ in total compared to over $1400 without an account.

Also, I haven't seen anyone on the forum who bought these, but there can always be someone who can respond if they did so.

For what it's worth, the lateral performance dampers are not designed to reduce body roll instead to reduce some minor road vibrations/bumps that would otherwise slightly shake the vehicle from side-to-side. To reduce body roll, you will need to replace the springs at minimum, then shocks will reduce the roll a little further.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information. I was initially looking at the sway bars, but it appears that the F Sport and the hybrid use the same ones. I owned a GS450h previously and put the F Sport sway bars on that and it made a pretty good difference in reducing the body roll.

^^^ Yeah, sway bars are stiff, designed to increase roll stiffness, unlike the performance damper on the RX F-Sport which is meant to move and act like a mini suspension for vibrations.

FYI, less body roll does not necessarily mean better handling. Each suspension modification improves one parameter at a cost of another.
