87 octane for hybrid?

Default 87 octane for hybrid?

Hi everyone im am unsure if this question has already been asked so apologies... Ive herd a rumor about 06' not needing 90+ octane for their engines but 87 was more then sufficient.. Is this true?

Yes, the RX400h does not require premium, and runs fine on 87 octane. It's in the manual if you don't believe me.
