Hi im new here so i did a mod that havent been able find on the site. As many of you know that fog lights can only be turned on with the low beams on and ad the 400h models have projector fog lights they are prone to HIDs so i really didnt like the color of the 5000k low beam HIDs so i got 6000k h11 bulbs and installed them and made that the fog lights can turn and off by the fog switch with out the low beams on they can be turned on anytime weather the high beams are on or off basically they can be powered on and off any time you want

I picked up a couple of h11 wire harness so i don't have to cut any wires then i connected positive wires of both the fog lights to the hybrid system positive signal by using add a fuse and the in side the car i opened up the steering column and found the connecter that gets the signal from the fog light switch witch was a pink wire i used my shops alldata system to tell me that that pick wire give a negative 12v whem turned on so i wired that to the negative of the fog lights the in the fuse box number 3 in the engine bay i pulled the drl #3 relay to turn off the factory drls

i know it's a old thread but i want to try this on mine but i was thinking of installing them to the oem connections of the stock drl's in the headlights because i want them to still come on with the low beams at night without me trying to turn them on

Same here, does anyone would have a more precise diagram on which fuse to connect please.

i would prefere to have the fog light always turned on if the engine is turned on.

Has anyone located which relay on diagram is for fog lamp relay for a 2008 RX400h. The manual only specifies the fuse but no relay information. Any help
locating is appreciated.
