Bluetooth Audio Stream
Have not yet sorted Ipod/phone music connection on my se nav rx and would appreciate any thoughts/advice.
Am in the uk and I have an iphone5 with the latest power connector .
In my last car I had a parott MK9200i phone kit which I found served all of my needs
Voice dial interface with iohone phone book. Usb capability and charging via cable.
It also worked seamlessly with the Harmon Cardon Audio / nav system fitted to my Rover 75 which was a BMW sourced unit. ITunes match worked brilliantly streaming audio via bluetooth into the system.
Then I switched to he RX with its own Nav Audio and Bluetooth Phone set which I must say is not ideal in the phone dept and has no Ipod Adaptor.
So what to do
I have manged to pair bith my Iphone and my work Windows 8 phone but no way of transfering he phone book..
So what do ido as I dont know if a secondary bluetooth system would mess with the electrics which seem to be as complex as on any car I have ever seen.
Sure I am not the only one. and would appreciate any advice on how this has been solved by others.
Thanks and look forward to your ideas.
Chris
