after two days of ownership and some headscratching, i've found out my rx450h is not actually a starfire pearl! quick research tells me it's actually an aurora white pearl!

i liked the whites to begin with, so this is a nice surprise. it's "brighter" then the starfire under the sun, and almost looks to have a blue-ish tint when under cloudy/dark skies.

i see this color was only offered on the 2010 RX450h's, which makes it a little harder to come by! anyone know where I might find actual production numbers for this color? will be interesting!

I picked up a 2010 same color last week, an off-lease from a Lexus dealer. I didn't even notice the difference in color at first. To me it was just "white" at least the first day I checked it out. When I came back another day for another look, it was parked right beside a white RX350. It was then I really noticed the creamy blue tint to the color. I was thinking white so I walked over to the 350, then said to myself "this isn't it", then I looked at the 450h and because it was no longer pure white sitting beside the white 350 I thought "this isn't it either". But after a couple of seconds I clued in, "yes it was", and then I really fell in love with the color. It just made it seem more special to me. I bought it that day.

nice find, droid! welcome to the rxh world! i LOVE my color as well, and wouldn't have any other colour (the 'u' for my fellow canadian...even though I live in the US now!). you'll grow to love it even more!
