Default Battery Always Fully Charged!!!

Ok this might be stupid but I noticed after I installed new brake pads and rotors I have been getting a full battery and also my engine will turn on at around 20-27MPH now versus the 10MPH it did when I my rotors where wearing down. Has anyone experienced this or is this just me, I'm also getting better gas mileage. I would figure since the battery gets some energy from braking this would occur but not on such a level like this.

Maybe your old rotors were causing resistance tripping the computer to run the engine more?

I have yet to see my battery hit a full charge just driving around.

The car does not get energy from brake hardware at all. It produces energy from the spinning elements inside the aisin transmission.

Not sure why but I can consitantly say I have a full battery unless I speed and use up the battery, but I always have a full battery maybe sometimes it will be one bar less. I just have never had that happen, how fast do you usually go before the engine turns on. ^

I can roll through my neighborhood streets without the ICE coming on to about 30 or just under.

Yeah still fully charged, dont get me wrong it will drain once I push the pedal to the max I lose half the power but I gain it right back to full charge.

I was able to get my car to 35+ mph on the Aisin drive only. Its all on how you feather the pedal.
I was on a long long stretch of road in between warehouses. It was a slow acceleration. and I think that by the time I got to that speed the ICE kicked on to charge the battery and drive the wheels.

Never made that video but its back to normal, I think it was because I replaced my rotors and brake pads.

The only thing I can think of for this to happen. The rotors are lighter than the OEM. Less rotational mass allowing the car to spin the MC1 charging motor more efficiently.

Anyway... just a thought.
