Hi guys, I got this weird problem in my gs , the click sound is quite faint, it sounded like the sound made when you peal a medicine tablet off the foil, and it occurs about every 5 mins.

I tried to track the source of the sound, and i suspect its coming from either behind the dashboard , but its definitely from the front passenger side.

I took out everything from the center console, the glove compartment , but still hearing the sound

It occur only when the engine is on.

My gs is a 2007 model.

I mean i am already getting the creaking sound from all around the car, and now comes this click sound, as if i haven't got enough sounds in the gs sure engine is smooth and quiet, but what's the point when u here all the internal sounds around u...

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Wait you sure its not the ticking in the Engine.It could be the dash rattles they we all have dealt with sounds like it from your description. If your out of warranty its a hefty penny but you might be able to get it fixed under goodwill.

Ticking sound from the engine? how does that sounds like? for me, its not loud, just a faint little click sound in the background

Many people have complained about it, its probably the dash creaks, do you have a hybrid GS.

Yes mine is a hybrid

its definitely not a creaking sound, i have been hearing them since we got the car, so its easy to differentiate

anyway, I am bring it in for a lexus recall for engine value spring, let's hope they can find something.
