How's it going all...new member here and would just like to ask a question regarding a recent concern on my vehicle. I have a 2008 GS 450h and experiencing a click noise that seems to come from the steering wheel area (where the steering wheel is attached to the steering column). It happens when pulling out from a complete stop with the steering wheel straight or while turning. The best I could describe it is it sounding like it falls out of place/displaced. Dealership has changed the steering column and after three tries of trying to fix/remedy the noise, it still comes back a few weeks later. My main concern is safetly and just want to be sure that the steering doesn't fail on me down the road. As of today the dealership stated that after an inquiry from their factory from their diagnostic technician, they were informed that it is a common noise associated "only" with the GS 450h model. I unfortunately do not know anyone else that has the same vehicle to compare/testHope they are right and is not a concern aside from the annoyance.
