Default rooftop carriers

Not that this is specific to the 400h per se, but I am looking at rooftop carriers for long trips, as the cargo area isn't sufficiently voluminous. Anyone have one that they are particularly please with?
I rarely see any brank used around here other than Thule.

Also, what mileage dropoff have you seen?

TIA.

Perhaps a soft-sided carrier like the one discussed on this thread:

I bought one last year. The biggest one I could fit was the sears 20 cubic foot. The RX is really short compared to other SUVs so the long skinny ones don't work. Also, the hatch and spoiler get in the way, especially if you want to open them with the cargo carrier on the roof. And finally the roof bars can't be pushed very far apart. This also limits your ability to put a long one up there. Remove the rubber limiting strips in the front to get a couple of more inches. I think they are there to limit noise into the sunroof.

This is what I got. It was on sale for around $140 at the time.

Great, thanks! I was wondering if the long 17 cu ft Thules would fit, didn't look like it.

Appreciate the help.
