Need help with hybrid Trip Info screens
Hi, I was in the "secret" menu that you can get to by pressing the "Info" button and turning the lights on and off several times. I'm not in that menu anymore, but I must have accidentally changed a setting while I was there and I need help getting back to my original settings. Now when I am on the Trip Information screen, I see a different screen that doesn't display the hybrid energy consumption information. It shows Average Consumption and Cruising Distance, instead of the hybrid screens that have the diagram showing energy usage and fuel consumption. I don't know what I did or how to undo it. Can anyone help?

Thank you anyway, petterf. I have retraced my steps to no avail. Nothing in the menus seems like it would have anything to do with that setting. I have a copy of the service manual on CD. Hopefully something in there will help, and if not, I guess I will contact a Lexus dealer for advice.

When in doubt, reboot. (thank you Microsoft).
Did you try pulling the fuse for the NAV system or disconnecting the battery?
Just remember if you disconnect the battery to do the ISC reset when it's up and running again.
Just curious, does your new screen show you distance to empty (how many miles left in the remaining gas in the tank)? Is this what you mean by 'crusing distance"? Interesting if so, because that is not something that is normally available in the hybrid (at least in the 2006).

Does anyone know if the same 'info button and light' combination works on the 2008 RX?
If not, is there a different way to get to the secret menu in 2008 RX?
Casey - good luck and keep us posted.
TIA

I know this is an old thread, but I thought it may come up again. I was playing around and doing the "hold down the INFO button" trick and somehow messed it up. My trip info was gone and my climate control wasn't working. Apparently, i had told the computer that I had a different car and it set itself up for that car.
If you do the on/off light thing 3 times you enter another screen that allows you to change which vehicle your computer is set for. For a 400h you want to pick 900N4WD. Hit WRITE and you should be good to go.
