Hello all,
Just bought my 450h a month ago, and the 2 full tanks I did we're 7.9 l/km for the first, and is on 7,8 on the current one.
The computer is being a little optimistic, because I have 650 km on the odo now, and 80 km left according to the computer. I will do a manual calculation when I fill it up again, but for sure it will do 700 km.
What I notice is that this car will not burn less fuel if you drive it too softly, like I do on my other car (diesel).
I think the best way to drive it in order to get the best consumption, is accelerate moderately , with the gauge in 25 to 40 , and when you reach the desired speed, ease the accelerator.
The next big winner is to take your foot of the accelerator as soon as possible when you know you need to slow down for a corner or for a stop light.
Finally, try to drive it over 95 km/h, in order to have the "second" gear engaged(you notice a small sudden acceleration).
It's the first car I have owned that will do better consumption while coasting at 110~120 km/h than at 80.
Great car! I just hope it will last without major problems, as I don't think I can't find another car that will top this one!

Im not sure what the technical term is, but i half press the brake and it recovers more energy when coming up to lights.
