Default Warning lights rx400h

Hi I need help. I have a rx400h 2006 150,000 miles, it's been faultless until the other day I came to start car and it started fine and then hybrid check light and Vsc light came on, I continued to drive and got home fine, the next day I decided to replace 12v battery, but it is still the same, I also have various other electrical problems that are related to this.....tailgate won't open, mirrors won't work, electric Windows only work off individual button, no cruise, afs lights don't work, central locking works off fob( delayed) but not off button inside car, also you can hear the central locking make a noise once the door is closed. The car still drives fine, charges as it should. I've checked all fuses, I've plugged it into diagnostic and it only shows 1 code, u0146....lost communication with gateway a. My sister has identical car so I changed the gateway ecu over but made no difference, I'm wondering if anyone may have any ideas on this before I bite the bullet and take it to the dealers? Thanks in advance

Hi thanks for reply, do you know if I can swap one over from another car or do they have to be coded to the vehicle?

Wasn't there a recall to replace that? Pretty sure you can just go into lexus and they will replace that for free.

No matter what, start with the dealer. They are generous with good will repairs for hybrid components. Worst case they confirm what is bad and you can buy part and DIY.

Take it to the dealership and they will have their mechanic inspect everything for you. You'll need to know all the parts that needs to be replaced and can order it through the dealership I think. Then try and see what you can install yourself because they charge a **** ton in labor.

You replaced the battery without keeping a "live source of electricity" flowing through the system. Never ever disconnect the battery without a live jump running to and through the cables. When you disconnected the battery you essentially caused your car's brain the flat line for a time and therefore "forget" how everything hung was before that point.

I guess keeping a live source is a good idea, on the other hand changing out a dead battery is common in vehicles, if you have your owners manual, there are procedures you must follow for re programming the auxiurally items you mentioned- tailgate, sunroof, window ect. I realize this doesn't solve the real issue, at least you know some of it is from a battery swap.
Good luck, like to know what you find out.

uhhh.. not sure about "never ever." I've never ever had a live source on any battery changes in my lifetime..
