Default Finally installed my AVIC Z1 and more

I had the AVIC-Z1 with Z3 2008 maps for quite sometime now, I've been wanting to install it to replace the factory stereo, the AVIC has a lot more feature and way higher resolution screen so after digging up some researches on the forum, I had to buy 2 beatsonic adapter MVA-82R to fix the no HVAC issue and a SLA-82R so that I can still use the factory amp with the AVIC.

So here are some snap shots of the on going project

Nav screen Comparison

Vehicle information on display

Pioneer IPOD Adapter was also installed so I can enjoy my IPOD
ND-BT1 Bluetooth adapter was also installed
a 60GB Toshiba hard drive loaded with AVIC-Z3 maps and POI and bluetooth fixes is install to replace the factory 30GB hard drive, juke box space has been increase quite a bit to host new songs. PAC audio adapter was install to retain most of the functions on the steering wheel as usual voice command button is disable but since my deck is a pioneer I will need to refer to technical manual to program the adapter again to see if it works or not

Other parts that I have and will be install in the next few weeks depending on my free time
1) Pioneer XDV-P6 single din in dash 6 disc changer
2) Nesa NS62 touchscreen headrest screen combo( DVD player, wireless headset, 2 input video selector)
3) Power inverter to power game system
4) Eclipse digital Class D mono block
5) Single JL 10W6v2 sub in seal enclosure
6) Monster Power circuit breaker
7) Monster Power 4 gauge power cable
8) Monster Power 1 Farad Digital Capacitor
9) Sound deadening material at the trunk and doors

Other parts that I have and debating about installing
1) Pioneer 5.1 DTS surround sound decoder
2) Pioneer 5.1 DTS surround sound controller
3) Pioneer center channel to complete 5.1 surround sound experience
4) Pioneer XM & Nav traffic module
5) SAVV 5" LCD rearview mirror.
6) MB Quarts Premium series Speakers to replace factory speakers
7) High Power Eclipse 4 Channel Amp to replace factory amp

Scheduled for next week
FormulaOne Pinnacle series ceramic film for windows tinting all around the car including the sun roof and approximately a 8" tint across windshield.

Nice install, how's the ipod adapter functionality on that thing? Can you watch videos from your ipod?

Unfortunately no, the AVIC-Z1 is the old model that uses the audio only adapter, the new AVIC Z110BT can watch ipod video on their deck, all the mods on my pioneer AVIC deck are from AVIC411.com, a great informational site for Pioneer AVIC decks. As mention above, I will be installing the 6 disc changer on my RX, I can watch video from there then. I have my AVIC Z1 already did the "2wire ground" method so my passenger can help me enter address, use the Nav system's full feature including phone

Very nice setup you have there. Sounds like a nice sounding system. I'm planning on adding a Carputer setup to my 400h. Did you use the Beatsonic double din or OEM kit?

If I get the newer version (AVIC Z110BT) can I still use the same wiring harnesses that you used? (If you know.)

I should think so, it's regardless of what aftermarket deck you use, for the HVAC and for me to use the factory amp, the 2 adapters were needed to make it happen. When you buy your AVIC Z110BT, make sure you do the 2 wire ground so you have full function and your passenger can help you input address in or make phone calls for you while you drive.

The system is about 90% complete, all I'm missing now is installing an amp and buy an enclosure to fit my JL 10w6V2

Nesa Headrest monitor, have 2 input, my son and my wife can watch different video
Pioneer deck can watch what the 6 disc Pioneer DVD changer is feeding to
I had to take my Broadway 330mm rearview mirror off and replace with SAVV 5" LCD rearview mirror which has 2 AV input, AVIC-Z3 is now feeding video signal to that as AV1(i.e. nav + video )
and AV2 is the video signal from the NESA DVD player.

Looking very awesome mowmow!

My Pioneer deck is on its way from Cali right now and my dash kit/harness is on its way from Japan. The amp and German Maestro speakers are already here. I will post the pics next week when the installation is done (hopefully it will be a success!)

Very Nice Maverick16, good luck with your project, take your time on the install, it pays in the end. I have some spare MB quarts premium component speakers, I might change my back too so I have 10 speakers setup in the car, 11th with the sub.

Default Pioneer AVH-P3200bt

Done! Okay, so I had a Pioneer AVH-P3200bt head unit, German Maestro Concept component speakers (front), and a Boston Acoustics amp installed today. It all turned out quite well and sounds amazing. I will be putting in German Maestro coax speakers in the back doors sometime in the next few weeks.

Here's some pictures!

Nice setup there, I'm thinking to put my amp at the same place too but I have to clear out
the baby emergency cleaning supplies and put them somewhere else.
