does anyone know if rear illuminated sills are available for the 2010 RX450h? for those who ask, the 450h comes standard with front illuminated sills that light up the word "lexus" in blue. i'm looking to complete the look by getting the rear set.

on a side note, i saw a 2009 RX400h with both front and rear illuminated sills earlier in the year at my dealership. i wonder if the rear illuminated sills in the RX400h would fit in the 450h?

not an available option from lexus. Probably some aftermarket options, but the 400h sills will not fit.

they are not standard but are part of the luxury package (rare) in the US

I have them on my 04 330 too, front and rear. Mine lights up more in an orangey color. I can see why it's blue on the 450h. Looks much better.

i hope lexus japan comes out with rear illuminated sills. it just looks like there something missing without the rear sills.

can the front sills be purchased for a 2010 RX 350? I got my GS Japan sills from Carson Toyota, but their website hasn't been updated for the 2010 RX yet...

just called Carson....the front illuminated sills are available through the Ultra Premim package from Lexus USA. MSRP was 266...sold them to me for 218 plus shipping.

the later question will be if there's is an electrical connection to hook them to, or if I'll end up having to take it to a car stereo installation shop.

took our dealership 5 days to install the 4 door Japan sills in my GS350.

yeah, carson toyota is a little slow in updating their website for the 3RX. i would just give luis a call and get a quote/availability of the front sills. good luck!

Only the front? My '04 had front and rear illuminated sills but not the tailgate. That would be pretty cool to have all five.

I miss the old sill. The lip in the '10 is a little high. When I went to the RX350 premiere in Feb '09 (with only 450hs, go figure), the guy from Lexus said it would prevent skirts/pants from getting dirty. I had to muffle the laugh.
