Battery level
I just purchased a rx400h and noticed that the battery level never turns green or charges the last 2 bars on the battery indicator. Is anyone else having this issue?

Normal. Lexus has figured out that the best battery life is obtained when the battery is kept betwen 20% and 80% charge. You can get it to go into the green (top two bars) if you have the 80% charge when you start the car and you drive agressively, so that the engine keeps running. Also, if you have a longish hill and you brake through most of it, you might charge into the green.
I've also discovered (while trying to do the ISC reset (idle speed control) - do a search) that stepping on the brake while stepping on the gas will cause the meter to run into the green.

Has anyone noticed a disparity in the power? I read a motor trend where the noticed a big diff in the 0-60 times depending how charged up the battery was.
I was test driving one and noticed it was pretty powerful. The one we actually bought actually felt softer. But as this thread indicated, the battery hasn't lit up the last two bars. In fact, the last 3 bars might be down. I just got this thing and still am getting used to it.
