07 flint mica rx400h, about 90k MILES of reliable quiet enjoyment already.
all services/maintenance up to date, despite her starting to look/feel dated; i would love to get another 5-6 years of usage out of this baddie.
ps. this thread needs more pics! some lovely 2nd gen hybrids here.

2006 rx400h
i have a silver 2006 rx400h with all inverter issues taken care of by lexus...at 158,000 miles...love the car!
all wheel drive-been in some sticky situations
silver with a great blue still smells like leather interior
mark levinson system....sounds awesome with ozzy or gershwin
nav with back up camera that made me realize i need glasses!
fuel mileage is 2-3 mpg better than rx330 which i can leave behind in a less carbon full cloud of smoke!
ride and interior quality superb
now at 180,000 miles i have radiator issues and yes, timing belt(while im in there), concerns
gonna get to know it a little better on the inside i guess!

Just purchased a RX400H 2006 with 200K, good shape and love the drive. Battery changed at 130K and all else has been fine so far. What else should I be looking out for? Bearings etc? Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

Good evening
I have recently purchased a 2005 RX400h SE-L after and i must say i am very pleased with it so far.
Its silver with black interior, sat nav , ml 6 disc cd player, & headrest screens which all work fine..
The timing belt was changed along with the water pump before picking it up with a full mot, no advisories.
It has 108 thousand miles on the clock with 3 owners and part service history but in spite of this im hoping it serves me well for the future.
If this vehicle does serve me well without too much repair bills i have plans to change the appearance.
Before i purchase any vehicle i always look at options and see if its viable to change anything and im happy to say with the items ive seen, changes will be done!
At some point the standard alloys will be changed to a wheel size of 8.5/ 9x 20/22 with either 255/45/35 inch tyres.
Before i go i have one question....
Do they have air suspension? How do i check to see if it has?
I also have a toyota aristo V300

Hello All,
I had a '93, SC 300. I traded it for a Dodge Cummins hoping for better mileage. What a dumb move.
I currently drive a '05 Solara, it is a very nice ride - but it is not a SC 300. I am finding it more and more difficult to get out of. So now I am now researching the RX hybrid. I have always loved the RX, and with my discovery of the RX hybrid technology I'm aggressively looking at/for a '06 or '07 RX.
I bought the Solara with 89 k miles and immediately had to replace the timing belt, ouch ! !
So are there any big mileage milestones that I should be aware of when shopping for a hybrid?

Just got my RX 400h a week ago Tuesday and I couldn't be happier.
I purchased a 2008 RX 400h with 50,500 miles. I have AWD, Navi system, 6 cd changer, etc. Its a beautiful Matador red with tan leather interior. It super clean and looks/drives like new. My only issue on taking possession (had to purchase from dealer out of state to find low mileage) was that the windows/hatch/sunroof had reset and it took a few tries to get everything working right. The dealer here says the water pump is leaking...anyone else see this issue?
Yesterday I had the sat tuner installed and iPod hookup. I am still scratching my head as to why Lexus chose to put a tape player in this vehicle and no AUX capability.
This is my first Lexus...I gave up my 2003 Honda Pilot with 180,000 miles on it, quite happily!! It was a great vehicle, but it's such a cumbersome tank in comparison to my sleek little RX 400h!

How much was the battery change? BTW, I just purchased a 2008 RX400H with 95000 miles, the timing belt was changed at 87000 is the only big maintenance thing that was done on it as far as I can tell. I think at 130K, it is recommended in the service manual a change of spark plugs.

2008 rx400
Just purchased a 2008 RX400H AWD with 95,000 miles on it. Pristine inside and out.
Previous cars were two 96 Lexus es300's. Hoping to put another 100K and 10 years on it.

Hey you all!
My name is Rob, I'm 29, just bought a 2008 Lexus Rx400h with just over 125.000km on the clock! full options, Black exterior, beige interior, panorama roof, ML sound, walnut dashboard and steering details.
I'm here to learn more about the car, what little tweaks there are to do and maybe which bigger adjustments are worth doing like suspension etc.
I hope you all have a lot of experience to share! :-)
greetz!
