Default How to disable the route "trail" from the nav.

Not sure how to explain it, but basically the nav leaves a trail of whatever route I take with these annoying dots, so the more often you take a route the more the dots accumulate to the point that the roads don't look like roads on a map. Not to mention it leaves a history of where you have been and how often you go there.

Is there a way to disable that function?

Not sure I really understand. Are these your previous destination you programmed into the NAV and set it to guide you there?

If that's the case, you need to hit your "menu" button, then go into "setup", then "Navi", the select "delete previous destinations". Down at the bottom of the screen you'll see "select all". Or just select the ones you want to get rid of.

See if that works.

Ah thanks! I'm gonna try that later. Yes breadcrumbs is a good name for it. I was calling it "turds" lol!

I think I figured it out.

Make sure your map is displayed.
On the bottom left of the map screen, click "show on map"
Click on "route trace" You should turn the green light on the button off.
When it asks you to save, click "no".

Did that just today. It's quite easy.

Map voice > show on map > route trace

Route Trace is a limited use tool, try using it for a day of real estate showings..."Oh look, we've been here!"
