DRL LED on 9005 High Beam
Hi Fellow CL members,
I was wondering if you guys can help me. I bought a pair of 9005 LED for my high beams. When I installed it no lights at all. I put the stock bulb back on one side and tried it with holding the high beam and one side works which is the stock bulb. The LED buld did not work. Am I missing something? Do I need to get a decoder kit?
If you have some input please do share.

A guess.
Most LED's are polarized. The positive must be on one side and the negative on the other. And if it doesn't work, just flip it over and plug it back in.
BUT......... the 9005 should have a little clip to hold the factory connector into the bulb, so it can only be installed one way. Maybe the Lexus come wired from the factory "backwards" compared to other cars?
Maybe try crossing the factory wires around by using a jumper wire setup ???
Let us know what you find. Also how do the LED shine as compared to the factory high beam? Enough light at night?
