Default Make audio channel on navigation screen stick?

On my 2010 HS250h I cannot seem to set up the screen so that it always shows me the FM/AM/SAT. Even when I am *NOT* navigating to a destination and I go from Menu->audio->SAT after 20 seconds it either goes back to map or to other random screens (sometimes the fuel consumption, sometimes info screen). I thought that was the way supposed to be but on the loaner I was able to have the screen always show SAT1 and the current song and singer. Is there anything I need to do? Thanks!

So is everyone able to fix their navigation screen to show the xm stations/songs/singers without the map screen sneak back up and taking over or is everyone experiencing the same problem as mine?

It's not broken. It's just a dumb "feature". Just like the feature that blocks your address selection screen with a message that says it has found more then one address.

I am almost positive that my wife's HS stays on what ever screen is picked. She almost always has the audio menu up, showing either what is playing from USB or XM. Her's used to be a loaner vehicle and was already setup that way when we bought it.

The setting to change this is in the menu under setup/general/auto screen change. Set to off and it will stay on what you pick.

I realize this is an older post, but maybe someone looking for a how-to may find this useful. I had a customer today who had a similar scenario with her 2013 Lexus ES 350 so I shot a how to video. The vehicle that was used for demonstration was a 2014 Lexus ES 350 but should have a similar method on the HS or other models. Here is the link to the YouTube video:

Default Radio / Nav screen setting

Just did the same to my ES 350. Was wondering how to keep the audio screen up when you do not want or need the nav screen. Works great!
