Lexus is smart, they want the 2010 inventory depleted before the 2011s arrive. Dealers have ordered them and they should arrive shortly.
HS customer demand has actually risen due to gas prices but now dealers don't have any 2011s to sell yet.
Hopefully sales will improve or at least stay flat when the 2011's arrive.

Without checking the exact specs, I believe the CT200H is about 18" shorter, 2" narrower, 3" lower and weights about 500 lb less than the HS. Simply isn't even in the same category - it is a very small car.

Just came from my dealer on a 15k service. HS's are now in shortage, and they have a backlog of orders. Same on the CT. They have one of each on the lot for demo purposes. I guess the specter of $4 gas trumps any lingering memories of recalls. Also, so far the Japan earthquake hasn't impacted their plants or suppliers, unlike some other brands.

I bought mine 3 weeks ago before the Japanese quake and both dealers in my area only had 3 left (not including loaners/demo). They said that they wont be getting any new ones until Lexus ships them the 2011 models expected around April 1st. But now with the quake in Japan disrupting shipments and supplies (All HS are imported from Japan), I imagine that there's a great shortage of HS across US!
