Not at all a Corolla in any way, size, or purpose.
The HS is bigger and more techno-savvy. Not to mention eco-friendly. It's really the first of its kind.
According to my local SoCal dealer, they will have it on display by this weekend, with a preview tonight.

Lexus of Bellevue, WA Has 2 HS 250h for viewing from corporate and thay had 2 Tech models for sale, I think one already was sold.
I test drove the white premium model with the Tech package.
Does not compare to the Corolla at all.
6 inchins longer than the IS 250. The pictures do not do the car justice.
Sweet drive, more power than the Prius, and has been said earlier lots of tech goodies.
I ordered a Premium Smokey GRanite Mica w/ Tech package. My sales person told me we should expext to get it around the end of September 2009

Last Monday, August 10th Longo Lexus in El Monte, California had a preview of two HS 250h's. Here's a picture with LED headlights.

One came in yesterday and today. I was only able to take a good look at it inside and out today because most of the techs were checking it out. It was called Black Pearl which is like the same color as the ISx50's Midnight Pearl because it looks dark blue in the sun and black at darker lighting and at night. What caught my attention was the instrument cluster, something about it gave it a 3-D look. Anyways, the sticker stated $37,xxx.xx, and the MPG stated 34 city/35 hwy.
