Wood Steering Wheel
Need one. Plz help! I've searched everywhere! yahoo auctions japan...you name it. I think I recall someone here successfully getting their hands on one...

Did you try asking them? Here's the part numbers for a 2012 HS Japan model do a Google translate some say wood/leather.

I would contact http://www.rancholexusrecycling.com/ and ask if any other model steering wheels are interchangeable. They (and all auto recyclers) have access to a database (they pay for it) that tells you what parts are the same on different models. I bet Lexus uses the same wheel on many vehicles.

That would be me.
I got my factory HS wood steering wheel some years back on easyauctionjapan, or yahoo japan. It is an option in Japan for the JDM HS and is a direct fit on a US model. I did have the dealership retrofit mine instead of doing it myself because I was worried about the airbag and the faults they create if you mess it up.
I paid about $200 for the wheel and about $150 to have it installed. But buying from easyauctionjapan can be a challenge.First you have to go through the steps of creating an account. Then everything is in Yen and must be converted. Then the shipping took about 3 weeks from payment to receiving the wood wheel.
Sorry I took so long to respond. Into home repairs now and cars took a backseat. Any questions, just ask.
Also, if I can remember when I was searching, I think the RX wood wheel from the same year as your HS...... MIGHT..... be a direct fit. I think that's what I came across a few years back
