LED Fog Lights
Has anyone tried these?
http://mtqinc.com/nokyausa/led_access/fog/fog.php
They should fit according to this chart

Not surprisingly a lot of the Toyota and Lexus use the same fog light. I was wondering about that one day seeing some of the fog lights on the current gen Prius and some Corollas.

Color might be a good match, depending on the LED in them. What is considered a good fog light output? I have a Philips LED bulb in use in the house. It's 18W and puts out 900 lumens. So this does it in half the wattage. I have a set of old PIAA pro fogs that I remember putting out a pretty good amount of light, maybe I'll dig them up and see how they compare to my 18W flood light bulb.
Here's an interesting ad.

Maybe I'll see if I can find a HID fog light set instead. Looks like HID has a little bit of efficiency according to the chart on the site.

Like he said, 900 lumens might be a little weak. I think your standard 55 watt 9005 fog light bulb is about 1800 lumens. About twice as bright. And then you could upgradde to a 100 watt bulb and throw out tons of light.
And at 5300 K, that's pretty blue. It'll have that "cool" modern look, but I doubt it'll do much for being an efficient fog light. You might want to look at something in the 2300 K to 2800 K range. Something a little more yellow.
Here is a good article on just that color for fogs that explains it way better than I could.

Now Airman, I don't disagree with you or Stoodo that 900 lumens is not that great of output for $300+ However I believe the standard h11 bulb in our cars are somewhere under 1000 lumens. Even in the artical you llinked a standard 55w 9006 bulb has 1000 lumens. Yes I do agree with you a yellow bulb would be much better for fog, I've had pretty nice yellow PIAA fog lights in the past.
Now for some really nice lights, maybe for the same price I can retrofit some HID bulbs, at 35w I can have about 3500 lumens, so even with a yellow filter I could afford to loose lots of light and still have a very good fog light system!

Actually it looks like you dont need to remove the wheel liners at all.
You have to remove the WHOLE FRONT BUMMPER!!!!!
Yes I was using all caps because I was YELLING!!! lol
I'm still trying to find a more cost effective option before I tackle this one... Maybe I'll just end up putting the yellow film over the lens, so the light color looks different enough from the head lights.
