Ultraguage in my MDX didn't report Engine Temp - the closest I could find was Engine Intake Air Temp - not the same

Ultraguage says that different cars have different kinds of information available thru the OBDII port - I'll try hooking it to my HS and see if there's Engine Temp available in it.

Ha,ha. :-)
I should have been more clear. I meant always look for pull through parking spots where you can face out when you park.

You are right, backing into a space would not make any difference if the engine was still running the whole time.

I find that no matter what, If I power off the car, then power on, the engine will ALWAYS kick on after about 7-10 seconds, and if warm, shut down soon thereafter. Not sure how much is saved with the parking scenarios.....same with you?
