Default Coin Holder

Hello everybody. I've had my HS 250 for about one week now and have realized that the coin holder is absolutely worthless since it rattles like crazy. Has anyone come up with a good alternative or an aftermarket solution?

I just switched from an Acura which had a great spring loaded coin holder and I am surprised Lexus didn't do the same thing.

Anyways, I'd love to hear what people are doing about it.

That's an interesting point you bring up. You can always get a universal coin holder (spring loaded) push through type or just keep the change in your pocket. I agree the HS' coin holder is useless.

I had one of these years ago that I velcro'd to the inside of the armrest compartment (or elsewhere just so it's out of the way); worked pretty well.

I just use my wife's coin purse and toss it in the center console -- she has like 10 of em and so one day I snatched one and wouldnt you know it, she knew it was missing! Dang.

Thanks for the recommendation Argelius. I ordered it from a random hardware store I found on Google for about $5 including shipping. It is much smaller than in the pictures and is a perfect solution. Now I just have to figure out the best place to mount it. Too bad I can't remove the useless coin holder that came with the car.

I use one of these:

Makes no noise and is quick to access.
